I have a HUGE scratch on my Rodney Atkins cd?home remedy?

My Rodney Atkins cd fell behind my dresser a couple months ago and I just found it,2-day(YAY!)But it had 2 HUGE scrathes!(BUMMER!)What home remedy can i use to get them off?(((((I've heard dip it in tolite water but i don't know if thats a big joke or not )))))
