I really messed up on Christmas help me fix it?

My girlfriend and I went out and bought our kids presents a few days before Christmas. She left to visit family and we suddenly got in a financial pinch. I returned the presents while she was gone and used the money for an investment to fix our financial woes. Well, I made the money back and then some. I wired her $300 and on the way out to my car I was robbed at gunpoint. They took 1350 cash, my cellphone and my id. It was all the money I had to buy gifts with and live on for the next few days. I did manage to sc up a little money and buy a few things for her daughter. A (so called) friend of mine offered to wrap them for me and I thought that was nice until I came to get the presents a couple days later and they were gone. The so called friend visited my girlfriend while I was away a couple days later and rather than saying that they were gone, she tells my girlfriend they were never there to begin with. My girlfriend broke up with me directly after. What do I do? I love her so much and I would never intentionally create such a situation without good intentions. I feel about 2 inches tall.
