What kind of foundation would work best for me??

I have dark brown hair and light blue eyes and have pale skin. I wear maybelline matte mouse but it makes me look extremely and unnaturally white! So it's obvious I'm wearing makeup. I want to look natural, but I also want my complexion to look flawless. Help! I'm tired of wasting my money and buying new foundations only to have them make me break out, or make me look unnatural. What kind of foundation would you recommend? Preferably the kind I can buy at Target, Walgreens or Walmart. I have used the powders but they made me look chalky white which I hated. I've also tried cover girl tru-blend foundation but it made my face break out. Please Help!!
