I have good credit, but limited credit history, how do I get a loan without a co-signer?

I need a car loan for $17,000. I have a 682 credit score, but only 1 credit card on my credit history, nothing else (I have verizon, but they don't report). I cannot find a co-signer, and I don't want to wait any longer to get this car. Is there some way around this problem, to where I can get a loan without a co-signer? Or is there any place that you know of that would finance me for this type of situation without a co-signer? Maybe if I have a certain percentage down? Has anyone else been in a situation like this before?
