I trying to find the name of this anime about singing mermaids. Can you help?

All i remember is that it was about this mermaid who comes to land and is pop idle and her dad is a blond haired terminator they even play the terminator music when he shows up. and they're is dude in a space suit who captains a submarine.... yeah any help would be cool. It was very funny and there is a kid in high school who is in love with the mermaid
