What is this world coming to?

The heroes of our day reflect the values of our day. Today it is not great heroism and acts of courage that is valued... what is valued to day is foolishness and entertainment. Great acts of courage and heroism occur daily but go unnoticed because the media prefers to cover sensationalistic reality shows and the latest celebrity antics or the latest politician's inmoral acts. Our country's values have been compromised as our media has been hijacked by greedy moguls that seek to promote their own self interests. People who truly care about values should do something positive and helpful and become involved in the political process and in serving their communities. Until that happens, our values won't change. We are teaching our children not to care... by our own lack of involvement in creating positive change.
